This letter is being written as a glowing reference and heartfelt endorsement of Apple Island Company.

In July of 1996 we signed on with Ron Leduc and Jeff Sikora to design and build our home in South Hero. Neither of us had any experience or knowledge of building or design. In fact, we were not even sure of what type of home we wanted to build. Ron and Jeff worked with us to construct an incredible home which we moved into on November 16, 1996.

Through a few conversations with us, Ron and Jeff had the unique ability to quickly ascertain the type and style of house that would best suit our needs and lifestyle. They communicated with us on a regular basis about the status of construction and continued to make recommendations and suggestions that had a crucial impact on the overall quality and beauty of the house. We were assisted through every decision making process professionally.

In addition, throughout the building process the house was inspected routinely by independent appraisers who consistently commented on the high quality and craftsmanship of the work of Apple Island.

The overall project was done in a timely and professional manner and we highly recommend the Apple Island Company.

In closing, not only are Ron and Jeff true professionals but they made what can be very stressful and overwhelming project a lot of fun. Please do not hesitate to call us if you have any questions.

Dear Ron and Jeff,

While this letter is long past due, I guess late is better than not at all. I want to thank both of you, your entire crew and your subcontractors for the excellent job you all did building our new house.

I have been told that building a new house for the first time is always a traumatic experience. And after talking with friends who have built and the horror stories they have to tell, I realize how very lucky I was to find you guys. While we emerged from this process as friends it seems that many seem to end with a lawsuit or other unhappy endings with their contractors.

Throughout the entire process you always dealt with me in a professional and yet friendly manor even at times when the many changes we made or other curve balls I threw at you would delay the project or cost you time and money. I know that from my business this can be difficult sometimes, however good customer service is also often your best marketing tool.

I am very happy with the overall construction quality of the house also. So far any problems we have had, you have fixed promptly. Considering the exposure to wind and violent weather that we have here, the fact that we haven't had many problems is surprising. Equally surprising is that with all the glass, the exposure and the enormous size of this house; it has cost less than $2,000 to heat each year.

While I am not looking forward to building a new house any time soon, I certainly would want you to build the next one if that time ever comes. If I can be of any assistance to you in the way of recommending you to any potential customers please have them call me.
